Dwayne and Christine provide marriage mentoring, relationship coaching, and premarital coaching from a Christian and biblical perspective through Married and in Love.
We are certified mentors and ordained elders. We are not licensed professional counselors, licensed professional clinical counselors, marriage and family therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, physicians, or other licensed medical or mental-health professionals.
Our use of the terms “mentor,” “coach,” “marriage mentor,” “marriage coach,” and “premarital coach” is not intended to represent or imply that we hold an Ohio professional counseling, marriage and family therapy, psychology, social-work, medical, or other professional license.
Our ordination and ministry roles should not be understood as medical, psychological, counseling, or mental-health licensure.
Married and in Love provides educational, faith-based mentoring and coaching intended to help individuals and couples explore subjects such as communication, commitment, conflict management, intimacy, forgiveness, expectations, family life, spiritual growth, and preparation for marriage.
Our recommendations, exercises, discussions, and educational materials are based upon our personal and marital experiences, mentoring experience, ministry experience, Christian faith, and understanding of biblical teachings.
Clients remain responsible for their own decisions and for deciding whether and how to apply information discussed during mentoring or coaching.
Married and in Love mentoring and coaching are not psychotherapy, professional counseling, marriage and family therapy, psychological services, medical treatment, psychiatric treatment, legal advice, or another licensed professional service.
We do not represent ourselves as licensed therapists or counselors and do not intend to provide services reserved by law for appropriately licensed professionals.
We do not diagnose, evaluate, or treat mental illnesses, mental-health disorders, substance-use disorders, or medical conditions.
Participation in Married in Love coaching or mentoring does not create a physician-patient, psychologist-patient, therapist-client, professional-counselor-client, social-worker-client, or attorney-client relationship.
Payment for our services is payment for the mentoring, coaching, educational, and faith-based services described above and does not convert those services into licensed professional counseling or therapy.
Our services are not appropriate substitutes for licensed professional care when such care is needed.
If during the mentoring or coaching process an issue arises that appears to be outside the appropriate scope of our services, we may recommend that you contact an appropriately licensed physician, mental-health professional, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, attorney, financial professional, or other qualified professional.
Married and in Love services should not be used as an emergency or crisis service.
If you or another person is in immediate danger, call 911 or your local emergency services. If you are experiencing a suicide, mental-health, or substance-use crisis in the United States, call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
Individuals experiencing domestic violence or abuse should seek assistance from appropriate emergency services, law enforcement, a domestic-violence organization, or another qualified professional. Joint marriage coaching may not be appropriate when abuse, coercion, threats, stalking, or violence is present.
Marriage and relationship outcomes depend upon many circumstances outside our control. Therefore, Married and in Love, Dwayne, and Christine do not promise or guarantee any particular result, including reconciliation, prevention of separation or divorce, improvement of a relationship, engagement, marriage, or any other specific outcome.
Testimonials, examples, or descriptions of other clients’ experiences represent individual experiences and are not guarantees that another person or couple will obtain the same or similar results.
Married and in Love is a Christian, faith-based mentoring and coaching ministry/business. Biblical principles, Scripture, prayer, and Christian teachings may be incorporated into our services.
By purchasing or participating in our faith-based mentoring or coaching services, you acknowledge the Christian nature of the services and understand that our biblical perspectives constitute spiritual and educational guidance rather than licensed mental-health treatment.
We respect the personal nature of information shared during mentoring and coaching. However, we do not represent that our communications have the same legally protected confidentiality or privilege that may apply to communications with certain licensed professionals or attorneys.
Our collection, storage, use, and disclosure of personal information are also subject to our website Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Clients should understand the confidentiality practices and limitations applicable to Married and in Love services before disclosing highly sensitive information.

Nothing in this disclaimer is intended to exclude, restrict, or waive any right, duty, remedy, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or waived under applicable federal, state, or local law.
This notice also does not authorize Married in Love, Dwayne, or Christine to perform any service for which applicable law requires a professional license.
